Maria Caputo
Maria Caputo is a Queens-based musician. She works as a music copyist for Broadway shows, serves in various roles on music teams for new works, writes music, and performs as a pianist and vocalist across genres. As a teaching artist, Maria has instructed at CAP21/Molloy University, the Darien Arts Center, Brooklyn Children's Theatre, and Brien McMahon H.S. Drama Department.
Performance venues include Off-Broadway at the Players Theatre (piano), Joe’s Pub (AMD/vocals/piano/conductor), Feinstein's/54 Below and GR42 (piano), Norwegian Cruise Lines (piano/vocals), and as many school productions of Addams Family and Into the Woods as you can think of. Selected Broadway copyist work: Pirates! the Penzance Musical, Gypsy, Death Becomes Her.
